The Servants with a Heart Leadership Team is composed of a variety of volunteers, from stay-at-home moms to bankers to retirees to business owners and everything in between.
Suzanne and Jeffrey Yoh, co-founders of Servants With a Heart, started the 501(c)(3) organization in 2011 as a means to serve as a family with their three children. Since then, they've recruited family and friends to join them to help make an impact on starving families worldwide.
Suzanne & Jeff chose meal packing because they attended a meal packing event and loved the process—it is simple yet impactful; the event involves people of all ages; and when volunteers are finished, they have made a tangible impact. Also instrumental in their decision to start Servants with a Heart was the friendship and support of the Brown family who helps ship and deliver food internationally.
Their decision to continue packing meals for starving families worldwide is made easier by the great group of volunteers on the Servants with a Heart Leadership Team.
The Servants with a Heart leadership team brings their own expertise to help run the organization more smoothly. They plan and organize events, set up and help run events, distribute local food, plan marketing, manage finance/bookkeeping, and much more.
